Working from home today. Why? Cause I can. This so fucking rocks it's not only not funny, it's downright solem. I don't know what that means either. Anyway for today only SJ is live! Any comments left today will receive immediate response (quality of response cannot be guaranteed, refer to your waranty)

Have a nice day.

Now that my workday is over, I'm heading home. And yours is barely beginning.

But it's tomorrow where you live, isn't it?

yes, I come from the future to tell you...shit what was it again?

Shit! I only find this out at 22.45pm in the evening! We (your public) demand a scheduled web live chat thingy!

reply time: 17 seconds. Only 2:47pm here

Wow! Wow! Live SJ!
So what's happening in Oztralia today?

SkookumJoe said...

another storm starting. Was about 36c with hot wind, but now cooler and blustery.

weather thingy says TO is 6c - can it be true?

Sandra said...

Don't think so - I reckon about 2-3C. Maybe I'm wrong. It's been quite mild, but I left work about 8.30 and it was a good bit colder than the morning. Quite misty.

SkookumJoe said...

probably a lag on the weather thingy. I know what you mean by mild, but here mild means about 20c haha

Gee thanks. It's been really cold out west - they've had 20cm snow in BC, and it's something like -20 in Alberta. Brrr.
As of today's discussion with my Supervisor, it looks like I'll be here until the end of March. Another Canadian winter! Can't wait!

yeah, I listen to Vancouver radio at work. Few big storms there, then cold and ice. Poor dears.

you can always pop over to Montreal, winter is nice there.

Sandra said...

Funny you should mention Montreal, I booked my flights home for Christmas and am coming back through Montreal, for almost 500 very good reasons. Anyway, I was thinking it was a bit crap of me not to have been to Montreal yet. Should I visit in Jan, or am I likely to die of the cold?

I suppose you'll want to see some of the winter carnival which I'm sure is on in January. I haven't been there since I was 4 years old.

Sandra said...

Great idea, actually. So you're getting lots of work done today?
BTW, I liked your cat stretching in the after-the-storm video; also the "woo!"

SkookumJoe said...

lots getting done. Was worried there'd be all sorts of phone calls from the factory, but nope...just one which was eeeeaaassssillly resolved.

glad you liked the vids

big news in toronto:farmer in trouble for selling unpasteurised milk

SkookumJoe said...

ornary bunch those dairy farmers. They're often Dutch you know.

Sandra said...

Exactly. Weather forecast says 16 and rain tomorrow. Bizarre.

SkookumJoe said...

what is Ireland like in winter? Rain or crisp and brisk?

Sandra said...

Quite a bit of nice, fresh weather, but also a fair bit of rain. 2cm snow causes panic: closes the airport and everybody goes home from work early.

SkookumJoe said...

sounds lke Victoria, BC

Sandra said...

I think so!
Right, it's zzzz time Over Here. Did you like how I got that plug in?
Hellos to Mrs Joe and the MiniJoes.
Where have the rest of your harem gone? GPG must be home from work by now!

Thanks for playing Sandra.

Open Skook is now over for this time. Early dinner then off to see P3 in a play - they're doing "The Adams Family" should be fun.

Sandra said...

Sounds like it will be. Have a good evening! Night night from Oh Canada.

SkookumJoe said...

Addams. Night night.

This was most entertaining. I should have been trying to interject instead of drinking tequila, but you know how that goes.

SkookumJoe said...

yes, I used to interject tequilla now and again. I like it with grapefruit juice if lime is not available.

Was this yesterday? Or is it tomorrow now?

Very good questions which I will forward to the people over in the Paradox Dept.
